Bayburt  |  Anatolian Vintage Kilim

Bayburt Kilims are an example of the natural hand-woven cultural heritage of Bayburt, located in the Black Sea Region. Natural colors are preferred in these kilims. In addition to natural wool color, black, brown and gray colors reflect the natural undyed colors of wool. Vibrant colors are also found in later modern versions. They are woven with the traditional plain hand-woven rug technique, and their durability and longevity is due to the natural wool used.
